If you manage your endpoints remotely, send a task to clients on your network to resolve this error:

Alternatively, follow the instructions below to clear the update cache on an individual client workstation:

  1. Verify that your Internet connection is active by visiting the ESET home page.
  2. Open the main program window of your ESET endpoint Windows product.
  3. Press F5 to access Advanced setup.
  4. Expand Update.
  5. Click Clear next to Clear update cache and then click OK.
  6. Click Update Check for updates.
